A large Meissen group of Count Bruhl's tailor riding a goat
Circa 1880, blue crossed swords mark, incised 201, Pressnummer 56
The tailor wearing pince-nez and black tricorn hat, flowered longcoat edged with elaborate gilt borders, white coat, floral waistcoat and breeches and long black boots, a ruler to his side and a satchel over-flowing with cloth and buttons slung from his shoulder, the goat with a pair of scissors suspended from one horn, an iron from the other, a pin-cushion to its behind (some damage and restoration)
