Mr. George Kocsis was born in Romania in 1959. After immigrating to the United States, he quickly mastered the intricacies of jewelry manufacturing under the patronage of J. Doppelt & Co. Mr. Kocsis continued the study of fine jewelry fabrication by working with exclusive jewelers throughout New York, while simultaneously completing a degree in electrical engineering at Polytech University. This background, coupled with his innate creativity and keen sense of precision, enabled Mr. Kocsis to become one of the most sought-after jewelers in the world. His expanded offices at 579 Fifth Avenue accomodate an astute clientele and his pieces embody a savoir faire rarely found in such a young designer.
