With nickel-finished lever movement, 32 jewels, bimetallic compensation balance, minute repeating on two gongs, the silvered engine-turned dial with Roman numerals to the outer silvered brushed chapter ring, blued steel moon-style hands, three subsidiary dials indicating month combined with leap year indicator, day and date, arc-shaped aperture indicating phases of the moon and lunar calendar, the circular case with stepped bezel, downturned lugs, snap on back, minute repeat mechanism activated by a slide in the coin edge band, together with an 18K gold Franck Muller buckle, accompanied by Franck Muller Certificate of Origin and Warranty, case, dial and movement signed

Lot Essay

The present lot was produced by Franck Muller in 1987. It is interesting to note that the case, dial and movement are all signed Franck (as opposed to Franck Muller) as this watch was produced during the establishment of his firm.
