A SWISS FOUR-COLOUR GOLD SNUFF-BOX
Geneva, circa 1770/1780, bearing prestige marks including one resembling the charge mark of Eloy Brichard, and a 20-carat gold mark
Shuttle-shaped gold box, the cover, sides and base with cartouches of engine-turned horizontal reeding framed by reeded c-scrolls, all centred by rural scenes and flowers chased in four-colour gold including a shepherd with sheep and dog on the lid, a dog with two swans on the front side wall, a pair of rabbits at lunch on the rear side wall, and a hound on the base
