Lot Essay

Louis-Pierre Joseph Godart de Belbeuf, marquis de Belbeuf, was First President of the Cour d'Appel of Lyons, and a Peer of France. He married Claudine Béatrix Terray, daughter of Claude Hippolyte Terray and his wife Claire (see lot 124), on 14 May 1821.
