A ROMAN GLASS BOWL
Circa 3rd-4th Century A.D.
Free-blown, transparent pale yellow in color, the bell-shaped vessel with an outsplayed rim and conical foot, concave on its underside, the exterior with wheel-cut decoration, including a horizontal band of wide arcs divided alternately by a framed diamond and three vertical lines, the band framed above and below by thin lines, a broad band of scale-pattern below
