Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Excellent appearance. Levels: 3 cms below corks or better. Lot GGG: one torn capsule, one bottle 4 cms below base of cork
Tasting note: most recently, medium-pale, lively-looking, open yellow-amber rim; sweet, rich, lovely fragrance, pure mature "beetroot" varietal bouquet that opened up in the glass, soft fruit, whiff of raspberry, also sweet on the palate. Full bodied yet a moderate 13 degrees of alcohol. Interesting texture and peppery acidity. Magnificent. M.B.
