Two George III silver salvers
Mark of Lewis Herne and Francis Butty, London, the larger, 1759, the smaller, 1760
Each shaped circular on four pierced foliate bracket feet, with pierced outcurved gallery applied with floral garlands and with beaded border, the centre engraved with a coat-of-arms within floral and foliate scroll mantling, the reverse of each also engraved with a crest, each fully marked on reverse
The smaller, 12in. (30.2cm.) diam., the larger, 19½in. (50cm.) diam.
