The dial signed Montjoye Fils
The circular enamel dial with Roman and Arabic chapters, signed 'MONTJOYE FILS', with pierced foliate hands and within a shaped case surmounted by a draped astralobe above a laurel swag, the sides with Greek key hung with berried acanthus, above a foliate boss flanked by puttae, above an acanthus finial, regilt, the later movement signed 'KLAFTENBERGER 157 REGENT STREET & PARIS' and stamped 'JBD' in an ellipse and numbered '37422 12 - 6'
