RARE FIRST EDITION PUBLISHED IN THE SAME YEAR AT LOUVAIN. Collected by Polanco, Ignatius Loyola's secretary and one of the earliest members of the Jesuit order, these instructions for confessors and penitents were published not only for the Society, but for the public at large. Antonio Blado printed this work in an Italic type based on Arrighi's cancelleresca cursiva. With a four-leaf quire of indices and errata, not called for by Sommervogel. Not listed in BMC.
