A Paris dark-blue-ground flared cup and saucer
Circa 1815, perhaps Dagoty et Honoré
The cup with a scroll handle moulded with flowerhead and mask terminals enriched in burnished and matt gilding, painted with a quarter-length portrait of a classical lady, scantily draped, within a gilt rectangular panel, the ground gilt with bands of pendant flowerhead and stiff leaf ornament, the interior richly gilt, the saucer painted with devices in fan shaped panels on a similar ground (rubbing to saucer)
