CIRCA 1740-50
Decorated at the centre primarily en grisaille with details picked out in flesh-tones, with two scantily clad figures reclining under a canopy beside a chaise-longue, a riverscape in the distance, within sepia and gilt lines divided by gilt spearheads in the well, the border with iron-red and gilt shell-scroll, rim hairline, shallow underside rim chip
