Lot Essay

These waterdroppers are closely related to the famille rose examples inscribed with Guangxu marks and dated to circa 1908. A pair of famille rose examples in the Simon Kwan Collection were sold in our Singapore Rooms, 30th March 1997, lot 282.

A green-glazed pair was sold Sotheby's London, 15th May 1973, lot 114
