A 19TH CENTURY DIAMOND AND PEARL BROOCH
set with a pearl within a diamond looped line to a detachable diamond fleur-de-lys terminating with a drop shaped pearl, mounted in gold with detachable brooch fittings and pendant hook.
Accompanied by Precious Stone Laboratory pearl identification report number 972775 which states:-
Examined two loose pearls as follows:
one, a drilled, brown-grey, round bouton pearl, having a round colourless rose-cut stone set in top of the drill-hole, measuring 13.12 - 13.27 x 12.84 millimetres and weighing 15.41 carats,
the other, a drilled, cream to light greyish brown, drop-shaped pearl, having a mother-of-pearl plug set in the base of the drill-hole, measuring 10.77 - 10.81 x 20.22 millimetres and weighing 16.14 carats. Both were found to be NATURAL PEARLS
NO EVIDENCE OF STAINING WAS DETECTED.
