Mark of Touron, late 19th century
the basin of circular form with a spreading foot and rim, the ewer of pear shaped with a leaf mounted scroll handle, the hinged cover with a fruit finial, each piece with an engraved coat-of-arms and overall engine turned decoration, fully marked - the basin 43.8cm. (17¼in.) diameter, 197oz. (6,125gr.)
