A PAIR OF CHINESE POLYCHROME-GLAZED EARTHENWARE TANG-STYLE CAMELS, NOW WITH ORMOLU PALM-TREES AND GLASS TOPS FORMING LOW TABLES
The camels 20th Century, the ormolu and glass tops designed by Pierre Delbée of Maison Jansen, Paris, circa 1965
Each with oval glass top supported by palm-fronds with a foliate-rosette finial to secure the glass, on a naturalistically-modelled rocky plinth on which the Tang-style camels stand, shaded under the trees' branches, stamped '1' and '2' respectively, restorations to earthenware camels
