The shepherdess with a ribbon about her hair, wearing a long classical robe tied under her bossom, resting against a tree-stump with her left elbow, her head tilted to rest on her left hand on her shoulder, standing barefoot with a recumbent ram at her feet, on a grassy and square plinth base with canted corners (ram's left ear lacking and restoration to nose and muzzle, shepherdess's right small finger lacking)
