A Baccarat butterfly and blue and white wheatflower weight
Mid 19th Century
The insect with purple body, pale blue eyes, black head and antennae and coloured marbleised wings, hovering above a flower with twelve ribbed white petals spotted in pale blue about a red, white and blue arrowshead centre and with five green leaves showing behind, the stalk with two further leaves, star-cut base (surface wear and bruise to side)
