The rectangular top above a black leather-lined sliding writing-surface the cylinder also enclosing four small drawers, three simulated drawers and three pigeon-holes, above a long drawer and a kneehole flanked on each side by a small drawer, on cabriole legs with pierced foliate sabots, the later English locks stamped 'BARON' PATENT below a crown, the reverse probably reveneered, the frieze drawer originally with further mounts, the sabots probably replaced
