the complete set of sixteen etchings, circa 1749-61, Second Edition, Third Issue, mid 1760s to early 1770s, with Roman numerals but before the second round of re-work (except R. 44 which did not undergo any later re-work), published by the artist, Rome, very good, strong and atmospheric impressions, most plates with watermark double-encircled Fleur-de-Lys (Robison wmk. 36), the full sheets, the usual central fold, in five plates this fold backed with Japon tape, occasional minor defects, otherwise each plate generally in very good condition, in two solander boxes
