Iron red Tongzhi six character marks and of the Period
the globular mid sections moulded with overlapping lotus petals within turquoise and gilt moulded bands of key fret, the bodies delicately painted and gilt with lotus sprays and scrolling entwined foliage enclosing bats, characters and swastika emblems, the interiors turquoise -- 12in. (30.5cms) high, (one with glaze chip restuck to foot, other with crack to neck).
