painted in the Imari palette after a design by Cornelis Pronk with a lady and her parasol bearing attendant on a riverbank before three water-fowl, the rim with a cell pattern band reserved with cartouches of water-fowl and small panels of ladies -- 9 1/8in. (23cms) diam, (small surface rim chip).
