Entirely of steel, with flattened double-edged blade with a single fuller on each side, the hilt cut in low relief with patterns of running scrollwork, flower-heads, and foliated tendrils picked out in gold, and with two applied "eyes" near the base of the blade (some wear, rust-patinated throughout)
