A SMALL-SWORD WITH GOLD-ENCRUSTED HILT
Early 18th Century, probably French
With tapering blade of hollow triangular section with etched decoration on each side of the forte, the hilt with double-shell and finely decorated with Classical figures, birds, animals, and scrollwork (slight wear), the grip bound with plaited silver wire
