A RARE CASED 50-BORE PATENT PERCUSSION WALKING-STICK GUN AND RIFLE

With interchangable sighted smooth and rifled barrels, the latter cut with twelve grooves and with blued standing back-sight with a single extra folding leaf, each barrel made to screw into the action, and with central nipple at the rear, and enclosed browned twist action signed in full and pulling out to expose the blued folding trigger, and with a hinge at the rear to allow the end to fold down and form the butt, the outer surfaces painted olive green (minor surface chips): in original lined and fitted mahogany case with accessories including cap-tin and shot-flask each signed by J. Lang (cocking lever capper missing), the lid with trade label, the exterior with white-metal plaque engraved 'Presented by W. Downing, Esq.re to the 27th. K.R.V. Corps, won by Corp.1 Hales. 1863', London proof marks
