A Model Of The Tramp Steamer Excalibur

A model of a classic tramp steamer with a preformed hull and black painted topsides, a green bottom and a gold waterline. The deck of the model is from basswood veneer with the deck seams blackened. The center of the model is built up with a double bridge and wheel house. The decks of the model are well detailed and include anchors, anchor windlass, bollards, deck railings, chocks, masts with cargo booms, cargo boom winches, cargo hatches, ventilators, running lights, whistle, funnel, three ships boats on davits, skylight, ladders, jack and American flag, etc. The model is displayed on a pair of brass pedestals in a glass case with a mahogany base and brass trim.
