Evening, The Trossachs, Stirling, Scotland

The Trossachs, variously said to mean 'the rough and bristly country', is the name applied to an area between Loch Katrine, Aberfoyle and Callander and traditionally was a gateway between the Highlands and the Lowlands of Scotland. The area inspired Sir Walter Scott's epic poem The Lady of the Lake (1810).
