A PAIR OF WILLIAM IV MAHOGANY CANED BERGERES
Second quarter 19th century
Each with curved shaped toprail above a caned back and scrolled arms, on serpentine supports, with red hide covered buttoned squab, on baluster legs with later brass caps and castors, repaired break to one leg, one with label 'JORDAN & ...' and with indistinct chalk inscription on the front rail (2)
