A RARE GROUP OF DIAMOND AND GEM-SET SHIELD BOSSES
Deccan or Mughal, late 17th century
Comprising four larger and four smaller bosses, each designed as a circular dome decorated with table-cut diamond flowers and emerald leaves on bright red enamelled ground to the green enamelled petalled border
Larger bosses 1 7/8in. (4.9cm.) diameter, smaller bosses 1¾in. (4.3cm.) diameter (8)
