A HOSHIAPUR BRASS-INLAID HARDWOOD, IVORY AND EBONY CABINET
Punjab, mid-19th century
Inlaid overall with foliate arabesques and geometrical patterns, the moulded rectangular top above a pair of arched glazed doors enclosing a mirrored interior, one glass shelf and a red-velvet lined base, above a drawer enclosing a red velvet-lined base and two sliding compartments, the side inlaid 'GONDA MISTRI', on a later grained stand with square chamfered legs, restorations to the stand, one glass pane missing
