The panel from the yoke of an unsewn chaofu, woven in gold and multicolored threads with four five-clawed dragons confronting flaming pearls amidst clusters of clouds, all against a dark indigo-blue ground, the rust brocade border of the same period, probably cut from chair panels, woven with auspicious symbols and cloud motifs
