The interior carved with a spray of lingzhi, peony and bamboo and the exterior of the rounded sides with the bajixiang within foliate scroll and leaf borders, the handles formed by lotus sprigs suspending loose rings; the contemporary gilt-bronze stand of quatrefoil form, the top with an openwork lotus scroll medallion surrounded by further engraved lotus scroll, above a matching openwork apron
