16 BRITISH BROADCASTING CORPORATION printed contracts with typescript details, various dates 4th September, 1963 - 2nd June, 1964, for The Rolling Stones to perform on various television programmes and pilots including: "Saturday Club" (4), "Mods And Rockers" (1), "Top Of The Pops" (4), "Go Man Go" (1), "Town & Around" (1), "Rhythmn and Blues Programme" (1), "The Joe Loss Pop Show" (1), "The Public Ear" (1), "Open House" (1); and "Juke Box Jury" (1); a number of contracts with copies of payment slips attached -- the earliest contract, 4th September, 1963 for Saturday Club for a performance fee for the group of £36.0s.0d., the latest contract 27th June, 1964 for Juke Box Jury for a fee of £31.10s.0d. for each artist, illustrating the marked escalation in the group's popularity during that nine month period (16)
