Six Months' Residence and Travels in Mexico, London: John Murray, 1824. 8° (227 x 131mm.). Half title, 2 folding engraved maps, table and 16 plates including 4 coloured aquatints. (Short tears to maps, occasional light spotting, browning and dampstaining, early owner's signatures on half title). Later half calf (head of spine split, rubbed). FIRST EDITION. Abbey Travel 666; Sabin 9140: "This author was the first English traveller in Mexico since Father Gage, in 1640."
