A Journey through Persia, Armenia and Asia Minor to Constantinople in the years 1808 and 1809, London: for Longman, Hurst, Rees, Orme and Brown, 1812. 4° (289 x 235mm.). 3 maps and 26 uncoloured aquatint plates. (Maps with a few short tears, occasional light spotting and offsetting). Contemporary mottled calf (covers detached, rubbed and scuffed). Provenance: Kimbolton Castle (bookplate). FIRST EDITION. Abbey Travel 358: "The engravings are of good quality but there appears to be no reference in the book to the engraver."
