A GROUP OF GOLD OBJECTS
Comprising a gold mesh evening bag, the navette-shaped engraved lid decorated with the initials KBC, with floral and scrolled trim to the cabochon sapphire pushpiece, opening to reveal a fitted mirror and powder compartment, with floral detail, suspending a mesh purse, with a tassel and seed pearl terminal and a mesh hand strap, (illustrated), circa 1910; an engraved gold cigarette case, 1923, 3 x 2¼ ins., with English hallmarks; a fluted gold cigarette case, circa 1920, 4 x 3¼ ins.; and a bicolored gold snuffbox, the top and reverse of engine-turned motif, to the chased scrolled and floral borders, mid 19th century, 2¾ x 1¾ ins.
