Maker's mark PAL, Germany, circa 1730, also struck with later German duty mark of 1809 FW for King William III
On a circular plain spreading foot, the cup inset with three 16th Century Prussian coins further chased and embossed with tassels, trelliswork, scrolling foliage against matted ground, inside gilding, marked on base and rim
