Mark of Jan Anthonis de Haas, Amsterdam, 1796, also struck with later Dutch duty mark of 1853-1953
Navette-shaped, on an openworked with flowers foot rim, the upper part of the body with an engraved band of scrolling foliage, detachable high-domed stepped cover with ribbed oval finial, beaded rims, marked on base and inner rim cover
