An Amstel porcelain series of children's games cups and saucers
1800-1810, marked Amstel in overglaze encre de Chine, further with various impressed marks, for the Dommer period
Gilt and painted in colours, in the Empire style, the cylindrical body decorated with various scenes of children playing and at various pursuits, the edge outlined in gilt, the saucers decorated en suite, comprising: a series of sixteen cups and saucers; two extra saucers, marked; five extra cups and saucers decorated with gallant couples, unmarked; a saucer marked with a Vienna Bindenschild (24)
