A large Dutch Delft blue and white two-handled quadruped 'tea-tree' tureen and cover
1764-1777, the cover marked for van Duyn
After a silver model, the light blue-ground bombé body decorated with the usual tea-tree (theeboom) motif issuing from a fence, the handles modelled as leaves, the domed cover en suite applied with a large fruit-knob finial flanked by four arched leaves
