FIRST EDITION. PRESENTATION COPY, INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR TO GIUSEPPE LANZONI on the rear pastedown: "G. Lanzoni Authoris Munus." De Angelis in Biographie universelle notes that Trionfetti selected for this, the first of his publications, "the rarest Alpine plants." Giuseppe Lanzoni was a professor of botany at the University of Ferrara and the author of a handbook on citrus fruits. Hunt 373; Nissen BBI 2003; Pritzel 9523.
