Each with cartouche-shaped back, with ribbon-tie carved crestrail and outscrolled arms, the padded back, arms and seat covered in polychrome and white floral silk, on tapering fluted legs, redecorated (4)

The use of chestnut in the construction of these fauteuils indicates a provincial origin.
