The circular enamel dial with Roman and Arabic chapters within a later glass barrel surmounted by a flaming urn hung with laurel swags, upon a faceted glass column flanked by scroll-cast handles hung with further laurl swags, on a shaped spreading base with Vitruvian scroll, stamped with inventory number 17353
