Each with molded demi-lune white marble top above an egg-and-dart band and a pierced foliate scrolling frieze, on two scrolling foliate supports joined by a circular laurel-leaf stretcher and terminating in pieds de bîche on a concave-fronted base, the base later, minor variations to carving, the back-rails and cross-struts possibly later, probably originally installed as part of a boiserie scheme
