A GREEK BONE KOUROS FIGURE
CIRCA 6TH CENTURY B.C.
His long hair swept back and tied at nape of neck, hands by his side, 5¼ in. (13.5 cm.) high; an Egyptian wooden figure of Isis-Fortuna, holding a cornucopia and patera, Graeco-Roman, circa 2nd Century B.C./A.D., 3¼ in. (8.3 cm.) high; a wooden female figure, with flowing drapery, Graeco-Egyptian, circa 3rd-1st Century B.C., 4½ in. (11.5 cm.) high; a miniature wooden 'mother goddess' figure, 1 5/8 in. (4.2 cm.) high; and a group of carved bone fragments including a stylized profile female head with incised roundels, 3 3/8 in. (8.6 cm.) high; a bone pin with female head terminal, Romano-Egyptian, circa 1st-4th Century A.D., 2¾ in. (7 cm.) high; a bone doll, with hair swept back under polos, circa 3rd-5th Century A.D., 4¾ in. (12.1 cm.) high; a female torso, well modelled with traces of bronze pin at shoulder for arm attachments (now missing); a vessel(?) fragment with part of a banqueteer, 3 1/8 in. (8cm.) high; and a lion skin, 4¼ in. (10.8 cm.) long, mainly Romano-Egyptian period (10)
