AN EGYPTIAN BRONZE FIGURE OF A COW SUCKLING A CALF
CIRCA 4TH-1ST CENTURY B.C.
The cow with traces of sun disk between horns, her head resting on a papyrus column, with calf suckling beneath her, suspension loop above, 1¾ in. (4.4 cm.) high; a bronze seated figure of Isis offering her left breast to Harpocrates, 4¾ in. (12 cm.) high; a bronze seated Harpocrates with index finger to mouth, wearing hemhemt-crown, 5½ in. (14 cm.) high; and a conjoined bronze figure of two deities each wearing a sun disk and uraeus, 3 in. (7.5 cm.) high, all circa 4th-1st Century B.C. (4)
