Each cheekpiece in the form of a striding winged ibex with curved horns, the central hole for the mouthpiece, the rod with squared off edges and flattened scroll terminals, cheekpieces: 4 3/8 in. (11 cm.) high; and a Mesopotamian-Elamite cylindrical bronze mace head, the upper section with prominent vertical double rows of bosses divided and bordered by parallel ridges, similar ridged bands around the base, late 3rd-2nd millennium B.C., 6½ in.
