A quilted panel of fine jamawar shawl cloth, the ivory ground woven with small boteh composed of a spray of pink and blue flowers, the borders sprigged with blue flowers against a crimson ground--51 x 38in. (130 x 96cm.), Kashmir, early 19th century, with later quilting; a composite panel of ivory jamawar shawl borders, the field with a double row of three upright flower-filled boteh reserved against a floral ground, the borders with smaller boteh and a floral meander--29½ x 27in. (75 x 69cm.); and a further ivory jamawar panel, with off-set rows of boteh, each one a bouquet of pink, yellow and blue flowers--19 x 25½in. (48 x 65cm.), small holes and repairs, Kashmir, early 19th century with later metallic fringes
