Tasting note: decanted at 5.45pm, first noted at 7.15pm: deep. rich, opaque core; earth and iron. By 8.45pm it was 'showing well': fairly sweet, rich, touch of iron, dry finish, drinking well. Two hours later, the remains in my glass exuded a soft, rich mocha. June 2000. M.B. ****(*)
