A hot, dry summer and fine September resulted in an abundant crop of exceptional quality. This wine is medium deep in colour with superbly aromatic perfume of great delicacy. Its structure is impressive, with ample, ripe fruit and complex flavours which are both gamey and earthy. It is magnificent, with a well defined middle palate and ripe tannins on the finish which are full of promise. AH
